Anecdotes:
What inspired you to do art as a kid?
“As a kid, I watched a lot of cartoon animations and I always wanted to either change the story or add myself into the story. So I made for myself self-drawn comic books.”
What is the best advice that helped you with your art?
“You have to take time to fall in love with it. It may sound cheesy but the most frustrating thing ever is to push yourself to arts without the patience. Don’t push yourself too hard in the beginning, you will learn to hate it. ”
What make you want to compete in competition in High School?
“When I was in 8th grade, my English teacher put me up against 24 High Schoolers just for fun, since I did pretty well at writing. I surprisingly won third place against all of these higher-grade students and I was addicted to winning and show off. But the best thing ever is to see my parents face after giving them the medals and rewards. ”
